Cut the bamboo as the required length to make the product.
Split the bamboo into several parts to make the base of the bamboo stick.
Slice the split bamboo thinly using a habatori knife to create symmetrical blades as required.
Reprocess the bamboo blades with the expected size to remove the sharp edges of the bamboo blades.
Reprocessed the smoothened bamboo blades once again in order to produce thickness as required for the product.
Production Process
1. Selection and Cutting of Bamboo
Pemilih bamboo yang susai dengan produk yang dibuat, yaitu dengan jenis bamboo wulung dengan kulit bamboo yang Panjang, setelah itu bamboo dibelah menjadi 2 dan dibelah menjadi beberapa bagian kecil.

2. Habatori Process
After cutting smaller bamboo parts, the cutting enters into hapatori stage. Namely, the cuttings are smoothed and thinned ro make same sizes, namely, 6 mm, using specific knife of habatori made in Japan.
3. Mentori Process
Habatori process still uses habatori knife, but using different positions, knife is positioned horizontally with mutual facing. This process is to eliminate sharpness side of bamboo blades.

4. Uraski Process
The final process in making 1 bamboo blade for plaiting is uraski. This process functions to adjust cutting thickness of bamboo blades of 0.2 mm. This process uses uraski knife made in Japan.
